Shutter Replacement

189 locations All new shutters to be board and batten style composite shutters At each location, perform the following:

  1. Access the shutters location via ladder
  2. Remove the existing pair of shutters and dispose of
  3. Inspect the area - provide an addendum scope and cost for any damage/deficiencies discovered
  4. After the building has been painted, return to access the location
  5. Install one new pair of board and batten style shutters from Atlantic Premium Shutters
  6. Clean up
  7. Remove all debris from site

Deck Edge Metal

Plan Type I - 18 lineal feet All items to be removed from the deck area by the homeowner/tenant prior to the commencement of work. At each location, perform the following:

  1. Place protection to the surrounding area.
  2. Remove the lags from the guardrail and shore in place.
  3. Sawcut and demo the deck coating for access to the edge metal flashing and dispose of.
  4. Demo the deck edge metal flashing and dispose of.
  5. Install new 26 gauge bonderized edge metal flashing.
  6. Patch back the deck coating.
  7. Spot prime and spot paint the edge metal and fastener attachment points.
  8. Reattach the guardrail and remove the shoring.
  9. Remove the protection and clean up.
  10. Remove all debris from site.

Deck Fascia

Plan Type I - 18 lineal feet All items to be removed from the deck area by the homeowner/tenant prior to the commencement of work. At each location, perform the following:

  1. Place protection to the surrounding area.

  3. Sawcut and demo the deck coating for access to the edge metal flashing and dispose of.
  4. Demo the deck edge metal flashing and dispose of.
  5. Demo the 2x12 and 1x3 deck fascia and dispose of.
  6. Inspect the exposed area for damage - provide an addendum scope and cost if found.
  7. Pre-prime and pre-paint the new materials prior to installation.
  8. Install the new materials with galvanized fasteners.
  9. Install new 26 gauge bonderized edge metal flashing.
  10. Patch back the deck coating.
  11. Spot prime and spot paint the edge metal and fastener attachment points.
  12. Reattach the guardrail and remove the shoring.
  13. Remove the protection and clean up.
  14. Remove all debris from site.

  4. Remove the protection and clean up.

Deck Guard Rail Attachment and Bottom Rail Repair

17 guardrail attachment locations and 2 guardrail bottom rail repairs All items to be removed from the deck area by the homeowner/tenant prior to the commencement of work.

  1. Fabricate 17 new attachment bases to match the existing configuration - preprime prior to installation. At each location, perform the following as applicable:
  2. Place protection to the surrounding area.
  3. Remove the lags and save for reinstallation.
  4. Layout for and cut off the bottom portion of the post and dispose of.
  5. Set the new attachment base in place and reinstall the lags.
  6. Cut off the bottom rail and dispose of.
  7. Set the new bottom rail in place.
  8. Weld the repair.
  9. De-slag and grind the weld.
  10. Spot prime and spot paint the edge metal and fastener attachment points.
  11. Remove the protection and clean up.
  12. Remove all debris from site.

Trellis Replacement

3 locations All items to be removed from the deck area by the homeowner/tenant prior to the commencement of work. At each location, perform the following:

  1. Place protection to the surrounding area.
  2. Pre-prime and pre-paint the new materials prior to installation.
  3. Demo the existing structure and dispose of.
  4. New support bean to be installed half on.
  5. Install new main support beam, ledger, sub beams and blocking.
  6. Caulk the beam pockets.
  7. Spot prime and spot paint.
  8. Remove the protection and clean up.
  9. Remove all debris from site.
